HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — A reminder that Virginia Free Fishing Days are this weekend.

No fishing license of any kind will be required for recreational rod and reel fishing during the free fishing days that run from Friday through Sunday.

In Harrisonburg, anglers can stop by Purcell Park this Friday, June 7, from two to five and officials will have everything a fisherman needs to try it out.

This program is open to all ages.

All fishing regulations including size, season, catch limits, and gear restrictions will remain in effect.
