ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Drivers on I-81 could run into some delays this week because of a drainage improvement project.
Ken Slack with the Virginia Department of Transportation said that crews will be replacing pipes on I-81 Southbound from New Market to Harrisonburg, which is from about Mile Marker 260 to Mile Marker 253. He adds that the work will require weekday shoulder closures through the third week of June.
