BROADWAY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Broadway Town Council met briefly Tuesday night to finalize the hiring of their new Town Manager.
The council voted to appoint Stefanie McAlister as Broadway’s Town Manager and Zoning Administrator. She will start on July 1.
McAlister comes into the position following the back-to-back exits of the last few people in the role this year following the retirement of former Town Manager Kyle O’Brien. Earlier this month, former Interim Town Manager Bob Holton announced his departure alongside Deputy Town Manager Cari Orebaugh, who will stay in the role until after the June Town council meeting.
Town Council will meet again this week for a workshop on Thursday, May 30, and their June meeting is set for next Tuesday, June 4.
