SMSGT Thomas Cecil Tiller, USAF, Retired, 90, a resident of Harrisonburg, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Tiller was born on March 25, 1934, in Bonny Blue, Virginia and was the son of the late Harry Lynn and Pauline Cecil Tiller.

Mr. Tiller was a member of the 82nd Training Wing, retiring from his military career in 1975. He continued working in private aviation with a variety of companies both internationally and domestically.

On April 16, 1955, he married Elsie Ann McKitrick, who survives.

Also surviving are a son, Jeff Tiller of Longview, Texas; daughter, Patricia Tiller of West Palm Beach, Florida; daughter-in-law, Amber Mathias Tiller of Broadway, Virginia; two grandsons, Sean Tiller and Nathan Tiller.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Keith Tiller and a brother, Harry Tiller.

A private funeral service was conducted at Peoples Baptist Church in Penn Laird with Pastor Jay Hanger officiating. Interment at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
