HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Drivers in the eastern end of Harrisonburg are being advised to watch out for workers near the roadway as an accessibility improvement project ramps up.

Harrisonburg Public Works announced yesterday that American Disability Act upgrades are happening through May 31st at the corner of Oriole Lane and Old Furnace Road, near the edge of the city.

Additional work is also underway at the mid-block crossing on Founders Way.

The city says that the road will remain open to traffic, but some traffic controls may be in place to protect employees.
