ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) –Nighttime delays are expected on I-81 in southern Rockingham County starting later this week.
Ken Slack with the Virginia Department of Transportation said in a release that contractors are milling and paving the right lane of Northbound Interstate 81 along a 3 mile stretch from the Augusta County line to the Mount Crawford exit. The work will start this Thursday, May 16, and continue through the end of May.
He says that right lane closures will be in effect from 8 P-M through seven the next morning.
