HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – High pressure is expected to build southward from eastern Canada and dominate much of the region through next week. At the same time, Tropical Depression Nine, currently near the Bahamas, is forecast to approach the Southeast coast early in the week before stalling and gradually drifting out to sea by midweek. A strong cold front will move through the area around midweek, ushering in cooler and drier conditions.
