HARRISONBURG VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A dry and cool air mass will persist through today, with low humidity levels expected. This is due to a wedge of high pressure gradually shifting towards New England. As this high pressure weakens and moves offshore Tuesday and Wednesday, humidity will increase and bring a chance of showers back to the Shenandoah Valley. Late in the week (Thursday and Friday), a weak frontal boundary approaching from the west will interact with coastal low pressure, raising the chances of rain.
