HARRISONBURG VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A Wind Advisory has been issued for Wednesday, from 9 AM to 6 PM EST, affecting portions of north central Maryland, central, northern, northwest, and western Virginia, as well as the panhandle of West Virgina. West winds are expected to reach speeds of 25 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph. The strong winds may blow around unsecured objects, potentially causing tree limbs to fall and resulting in a few power outages.  Residents are advised to take precautionary measures to secure loose objects. Drivers, especially those with high-profile vehicles, should exercise extra caution as the strong winds can make driving difficult.
