HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – High pressure will continue to build over the Shenandoah Valley today. A warm front will move in for Wednesday, making for a much warmer day than today. Meanwhile, an area of low pressure, building over the Great Lakes, will cause an increase in winds from Wednesday afternoon into Wednesday night. A frontal system expected to develop late this week, has the potential to pull moisture out of the Gulf of America and over our area by the weekend. That rain, if it develops, would most likely arrive late Saturday into Sunday.
RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM TO 6 PM EST WEDNESDAY DUE
TO A COMBINATION OF GUSTY WINDS
