HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – A high-pressure system will gradually drift north and northeast of the Shenandoah Valley this weekend and continue into the middle of next week. While a few upper-level disturbances could bring isolated showers to the Allegheny Mountains, most of the region will stay dry. Temperatures are expected to remain below normal. Toward the end of next week, a new frontal system may increase the chance of rain.
