HARRISONBURG VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Rain will continue for most of today, thanks to a low pressure system and associated cold front, making it’s way through the valley. Once the rain ends, skies will begin to clear, most likely overnight into Saturday. High pressure arrives for the weekend, bringing clear skies and cooler temperatures. Winds will shift back to the southwest by Monday, bringing unseasonably warm temperatures for a day. Another cold front will return the temperatures to the 50’s by Tuesday. Our next potential rain maker is expected to form over the Great Lakes by Wednesday. This system could bring rain and maybe a frozen mix to the area late in the week.
