HARRISONBURG VA: (Rocktown Now) – We’ll hang onto the milder temperatures today, thanks to high pressure sitting just off the East Coast. Later this evening and into Friday morning, though, a strong cold front will move through the Shenandoah Valley. That will bring our next chance for rain, including a few heavier showers early Friday as the front passes.

Once it moves through, expect cooler temperatures and some pretty gusty winds. We’ll get a brief break with high pressure returning for the weekend, and a dry front should slide through Sunday afternoon. High pressure looks to build back in as we head into early next week.
