HARRISONBURG VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – There’s a saying you’ve probably heard, if you have lived in Virginia any length of time.  “If you don’t like the weather, just wait a minute and it will change”.  This week may be one of those weeks.  High pressure will keep mild temperatures and the dry conditions for today. Then, the two days of what is shaping up to be a significant winter storm.  Snow for Tuesday is expected to mix with sleet and freezing rain overnight, as the cold air that would make for a snow event, falls apart to our north.  There’s still a lot of questions as to what the temperatures may be for Wednesday, which could determine what form of precipitation takes.  Thursday, we jump into the 50’s on a southerly flow of air!  But wait, there’s more! Valentine’s Day looks quite with just some clouds and highs in the 40’s.  Saturday, another chance of a little snow, followed by rain as temperatures will climb into the 40’s.
