The National Weather Service area forecast discussion

An upper low is centered over western Massachusetts with an
additional disturbance near Lake Huron. Upper troughing over the
general area will allow for gusty winds, cooler air, and
mountain snow showers through Saturday. High pressure builds
overhead Sunday into early next week. Unsettled conditions
return by the middle of next week as a slow moving cold front
approaches.
