From the National Weather Service
Scattered shower and thunderstorm chances are forecast for today
as a stalled front dissipates just east of the region. Meanwhile,
weak high pressure will build in from the Ohio River Valley
tonight before shifting to the central Appalachians Monday. Hot
conditions return as a result, although humidity will remain
manageable. Shower and thunderstorm chances increase Tuesday
into Wednesday as another front drops into the region. This
front will stall over the area late week as Tropical Cyclone
Debby works its way north through the Carolinas.
