HARRISONBURG VA: (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A low-pressure system is gradually moving north from the Carolinas and will exit off the Virginia coast today. Surface high pressure will build overhead from the west tonight and continue through Sunday. Early next week, another low-pressure system and its associated fronts will affect the region. The next full moon, the Pink Moon, will occur this evening at 8:22 p.m. With any luck, clouds may clear out in time for you to see it. The Pink Moon gets it’s name from the spring flowers in bloom this time of the year, many of which are pink in color.
