The Staunton Storm continued their strong start to the season with a hard-fought 15-7 victory over the Rocktown Raptors. The game was a defensive battle, with both teams struggling to find rhythm on offense. Staunton managed to capitalize on key opportunities, scoring twice and holding Rocktown to a single touchdown.
Rocktown entered the game riding high after a dominant 57-22 win over Page County, but their momentum was halted by Staunton’s disciplined defense and efficient playmaking. The loss dropped Rocktown’s record to 1-1, while Staunton improved to 2-0, maintaining a perfect start to their season.
The Turner Ashby Knights kicked off their 2025 season with a strong road win over the Fort Defiance Indians. The Knights dominated both sides of the ball, securing a 35-15 victory.
