Becky Wood, with Response, talks about the organization and the issue of sexual and domestic violence in Shenandoah County and Virginia. Founded in 1980, Response is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors through advocacy, education, outreach, and confidential services. They operate a 20-bed emergency shelter and provide resources for both in-shelter and out-of-shelter clients.
