It’s no surprise when you begin to lose your hearing as you age, but you might be surprised at the number of younger people, even newborns, who have hearing issues. Dr. Robert Hinkle with Harrisonburg Hearing Services talks about the surprising statistics, including the fact that one in one-thousand newborns are born deaf.
