Georgia State scored 10 consecutive runs to come from behind for a series opening win, as James Madison baseball fell, 10-5, on Friday night at the GSU Baseball Complex.

James Madison (17-20, 5-8 SBC) softball opened its three-game series with timely hitting and strong pitching, taking down Louisiana (22-16, 5-8 SBC) in game one at Veterans Memorial Park, 6-2, on Friday night.

Tabitha Nicole Taylor’s status hearing was continued until May 8.

UPDATE (4/10/26): Nayaliz Scott-Moya has been safely located.

The goal is to provide youth ages 12–16 exposure to their local police department and the role it plays in the community.

Harrisonburg Vice Mayor Dany Fleming has announced his endorsement for Tom Perriello for Congress.
