
The Massanutten Regional Library has been awarded the Virginia Library Association’s 2025 Library of the Year award.

The Virginia Board of Education is considering raising the Standards of Learning (SOL) cut scores for grades 3 through 12 next week.

Broadway Police K9 Diablo and his handler Officer Angler completed the test on Friday. Officials say they are now headed back to Broadway.

Once fully operational, this program will allow the clinician to respond with officers to behavioral health-related calls to de-escalate crises, reduce arrests and hospitalizations, and connect individuals to treatment and support while improving service delivery and
community outcomes.

At approximately 4:00 PM, the Woodstock Fire Department, Edinburg Volunteer Fire Company, Toms Brook Fire Department, and Shenandoah County Fire and Rescue were dispatched for a structure fire on Old Valley Pike south of town.
