Temperatures could fall to around 30 degrees between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m. EDT Sunday.
Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 26 to 30 degrees are possible in the Shenandoah Valley from 2am to 10am Tuesday morning.
Outdoor burning is not recommended, as fires will catch and spread quickly.
The advisory has been issued in Shenandoah, Augusta, and Rockingham Counties.
