The James Madison defense posted a shutout over the final three quarters while the offense broke through with a pair of rushing touchdowns in the second half for a 14-7 victory over Georgia State on Saturday afternoon at Center Parc Stadium.
The Bridgewater College football team fell to Shenandoah 24-21 on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Kennedy Louisell recorded 37 kills, setting a James Madison single-match record, as the Dukes rallied from a 14-12 fifth-set deficit to defeat Georgia State (15-25, 28-26, 25-21, 25-27, 16-14) in Sun Belt Conference volleyball action on Saturday at the Convocation Center.
