Heritage Acres Greenhouse
In 2020, the former Sunny Acres Greenhouse property was purchased with the dream of restoring it into a thriving community space, and after months of hard work and family support, Heritage Acres Greenhouse, formerly Valley Roots, opened for its first retail season in April 2021.
Operating seasonally from April through summer, the greenhouse offers a wide variety of annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, succulents, vegetable plants, herbs, and houseplants. In 2022, a gift shop was added, featuring local honey, houseplants, paintings, handmade blankets and aprons, and other unique items. Heritage Acres also hosts special seasonal events, including wreath-making and children’s cookie decorating at Christmastime, as well as summer kids’ activities and occasional petting zoos during market days, creating a welcoming space for the community to gather and grow.
