FCBD is an annual event put on by the comic book industry to grow readership and promote literacy.

This mixed-media show features 25 artists who have each created 25 new works of art (measuring 5″ by 5″) over the past five months.

The Rockingham County Fair has announced the 2025 Grandstand Events for August 10-16. This year’s theme for the fair is Ribbons and Rides.

YOVASO announced they will be hosting a beach-themed Summer Leadership Retreat at JMU in Harrisonburg, VA, from July 17–20.

Breeden comes to the position with 19 years of experience working in skilled nursing/long-term care. She is a registered nurse and previously served the center as director of nursing before earning her NHA license in 2024. She was assistant executive director for nearly a year before being promoted in February. 

HPD Officers and RCSO Deputies will have collection boxes available in the parking lot of Valley Mall, located at 1925 E Market Street in Harrisonburg.

Harrisonburg City Public School Board members met with Congressman Ben Cline this week to discuss H.R. 899: The Termination of the Department of Education, a bill Cline co-sponsored.
