The Rockingham County School Board voted to retain several books but will remove ‘A Court of Mist and Fury,’ by Sarah J. Maas, due to sexually explicit content. They also discussed a policy change that would ban student cell phone use in the county’s high schools.
The injured animal was found in Newport News and after four months of treatment at the Waynesboro facility, officials released the eagle last Friday.
Salatin has been with the county since 2021, serving most recently as the deputy director of community development.
