The organization’ s cooling center that was operating during the heat wave that occurred earlier this summer will open again in anticipation of high temperatures later this week.
The course, titled “Roots Revealed: Local History in Rockingham County” will be offered through JMU’s Lifelong Learning Institute and will be taught by Deputy Clerk Megan Pullen.
Two new undergraduate programs in criminology and game design will be available to current and prospective Bridgewater College students beginning this fall.
The event will be from 2 to 5pm at Fire Station 1 and is completely free.
