The clinic’s namesake, Twila Showalter, was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2014 and passed away three years later. Since then, the Showalter family has raised $100,000 to date for the RMH Foundation’s Hope Fund for Cancer Care.
The GAOA has funded over $6 billion in maintenance and repair projects in four years, and to celebrate that anniversary they’re waiving entrance fees to all National Parks.
These grants are up to $3,000 to support eligible activities such as festivals and events.
