According to a news release, the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office received information about the threat around shortly before 6 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30. Deputies responded to the student’s address and questioned the juvenile about the threatening messages.

According to a social media post from the Augusta County Sheriff’s office, school administrators were notified about the threat shortly after 2:15 p.m. and immediately contacted authorities.
