Instead of a match on Homecoming this year, the Royals women’s volleyball team kicked off the festivities with a Thursday night matchup, taking on first-year program Sweet Briar. EMU made quick work of the Vixens, picking up a 3-0 (25-11, 25-8, 25-11) win in a non-ODAC match.

Drivers are encouraged to use an alternate route through the city while first responders work to clear the scene.

The male is described as a clean-shaven Hispanic male between the age of 20-40, and he was wearing a black t- shirt with dark pants, possibly black or dark blue.

Virginia State Police spokesman Matt Demlein said that the incident happened yesterday afternoon in the parking lot of Wal Mart on John Wayland Highway.
