AUGUSTA COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Governor Glenn Youngkin has appointed several Valley professionals to a handful of the state’s oversight boards.
In a release today, the governor’s office announced that Wesley Marshall, the owner of Marshall Farms in Weyers Cave, has been appointed to the commonwealth’s Corn Board under the Agriculture and Forestry umbrella.
Meanwhile, Luray Caverns President John Graves and Luray town councilwoman Stephanie Lillard have been placed on the Cave Board under the Natural and Historic Resources subheading.
And finally, Morgan Slaven – owner of Mercy Mill Farm in Augusta County – was named to the Board of Trustees presiding over the Virginia Land Conservation Foundation.
