HARRISONBURG, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Upgrades to roadside infrastructure near downtown Harrisonburg may inconvenience some drivers through the end of the month.
According to Harrisonburg Public Works, ramp, sidewalk and concrete improvements are starting today at South Main Street and the Grattan Street cut-through – near the city’s World War I memorial.
Officials say that while the project is underway, the cut-through will be closed to traffic, and several parking spaces near the site will be temporarily removed.
The work is expected to continue through May 31.
City officials are thanking folks in advance for driving safely around this active work zone.
