Virginia State Police is investigating what caused a fatal crash last night in Warren County that claimed the life of a Woodstock man.
Sergeant Brent Coffey explains the crash happened at around 8:15 on Interstate 66 near mile marker six in the Front Royal area.

Coffey said “A 2014 Kia Forte was traveling west on I-66 when it rear ended at westbound 1995 Ford dump truck which was accelerating
from a nearby entrance ramp”.

The driver of the Kia, 44-year-old John Barb died at the scene. Coffey said he was not wearing a seatbelt.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford dump truck was not injured.
