Wesley Bruce Miller, 46 of Timberville died April 2, 2024 at UVA.
He was born January 15, 1978 in Harrisonburg to Doug and Viola Lantz Miller of Timberville.
Wes graduated from Broadway High School. He caught chickens and drove a truck for Rockingham Poultry. He also drove trucks for WLR Foods, Valley Protein, and Mathias Brothers.
Wes loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed barbecuing chicken for cookouts with family and friends. He was a fan of the Washington Redskins. He enjoyed demolition derbys, going to the New Market Eagles and dancing, riding around looking for deer, and talking to friends. Wes is going to be missed by many family, friends, and Boomer, he and his dad’s dog.
Surviving besides his parents are brothers; Doug Jr. and wife Angela, Brent and wife Miranda, Chris, sister; Kim Gammons and husband Jeremy; nieces; Whitney, Icie, Kayleigh, Mady and Skye; nephews; Kylar, Wade, Gage and Gavin; great niece, Aspen; and great nephews; Mason and Kyden; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rudolph and Hazel Miller, Dow and Virginia Lantz; uncles Tom Miller and Junior Lantz; and a niece McKayla Miller.
Pastor Karl Magenhofer will conduct a funeral service 2:00 PM Sunday at Grandle Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in Rader Lutheran Church Cemetery in Timberville.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 PM Saturday at Grandle Funeral Home.
