WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — On Friday, November 14, 2025, at approximately 10:45 pm, Waynesboro Police officers responded to the 100 block of Tiffany Drive for a reported grass fire.
According to an online post on the department’s page, witnesses at the scene reported hearing a female state that she had set the fire.
Upon arrival, officers located and detained the individual, identified as 34-year-old Deandrea Walker of Waynesboro. Witnesses on scene identified Walker as the alleged suspect.
Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for Walker for allegedly Burning or destroying personal property valued over $1,000 (Felony) and Obstructing justice without force (Misdemeanor).
Walker was taken into custody without incident.
