WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — On Saturday, November 15, 2025, at approximately 12:00 pm, Waynesboro Police officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of East Main Street for a report of a female attacking a male.
According to a release, callers alleged that the female had broken the windows of the male’s vehicle and was using a taser and a knife against him.
Upon arrival, officers observed a male retreating in the middle of the road from a female wielding a knife in one hand and a stun gun in the other. The female, identified as 50-year-old April Riddle of Waynesboro, complied with officers’ commands to drop the weapons and was detained.
After speaking with the male victim, officers took Riddle into custody without further incident. She faces the following alleged violations:
- Malicious wounding (1 Felony count)
- Unlawful wounding (1 Felony count)
- Possession of stun weapons by convicted felons (1 Felony count)
- Possession of controlled substances (1 Felony count)
- Destruction of property (1 Misdemeanor count)
Riddle was held without bond and transported to Middle River Regional Jail, where she remains in custody.
