WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — Water line work will shut down service to portions of Waynesboro today.

According to an online statement, there will be an interruption in water service in the vicinity of South Wayne, Market, and Arch Avenues, as well as 13th and 14th streets in Waynesboro.

Contractors will reportedly be working to relocate a water main line that will require service to be shut off for about 2 hours sometime between 10am and 2pm.

The city thanks the affected community for their patience while this project is completed.
