WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) – Waynesboro Public Schools hosted its Multicultural Festival on March 17, 2026, at Kate Collins Middle School, bringing together students, families, staff and community members for an evening of celebration, learning, and connection.

The event featured a showcase of cultural performances, interactive activities, and a wide variety of food and cultural displays representing communities from around the world. Attendees experienced student performances including music, dance and drumming, while also exploring cultural tables and engaging with local vendors and community partners.

“This event was a powerful reflection of the diversity within our schools and our community,” said Kendra Jones Carter, Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Waynesboro Public Schools in a release. “It was incredible to see students, families, and staff come together to celebrate culture, build connections, and learn from one another.”
