WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Waynesboro Police Department (WPD) is seeking information from the public regarding multiple acts of vandalism that occurred overnight between October 7 and October 8, 2025, in the downtown area.

Incidents include:

  • The destruction of a business front window on Ohio Street.
  • Damage to a vehicle parked nearby, including shattered windows.
  • Vandalism to plywood covering a building’s front door.
  • Political signs torn down in multiple locations.
  • Damage to a vehicle in a separate parking lot, with multiple impact points to the windshield.

At this time these incidents appear to be connected and the WPD is actively reviewing available security footage from surrounding properties. No suspects have been identified.
