WAYNESBORO, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – A Waynesboro man faces multiple charges after police found 14 dogs running loose on Nov. 9.

Reuben Michael Silver, 31, was arrested after police executed a search warrant at his home in the 1500 block of Third Street. The dogs were taken to a temporary shelter for medical treatment.

Silver is charged with 70 misdemeanor counts related to animal cruelty, including failing to provide licenses, vaccinations, and proper care for the dogs.

He was released on bond. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
