WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now) — The Wayne Theatre presents the Vienna Boys Choir on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 7:00 pm in Downtown Waynesboro.
According to a release, the Vienna Boys Choir traces its origins to 1498. Over the centuries, the court attracted composers and musicians, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Anton Bruckner. Joseph Haydn, Michael Haydn, and Franz Schubert.
Today the Vienna Boys Choir is a private, non-profit organization that relies on sponsorship and donations. The Choir’s campus includes a primary school, junior high, and senior high school. Three hundred students between the ages of six and nineteen receive a comprehensive education and individual voice training.
