WAYNESBORO, VA (Rocktown Now)- The Wayne Theatre presents, “Evening in the Round”, a concert experience featuring Grammy Award-winning vocalist Linda Davis, songwriter and guitarist Lang Scott, and songwriter Bill Whyte. The performance will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Wayne Theatre in Downtown Waynesboro, VA.

According to a release, “Evening in the Round” blends acoustic music, personal stories, and “a touch of Nashville charm to create a concert experience that is both entertaining and heartfelt.” Together, Davis, Scott, and Whyte offer an opportunity for audiences to enjoy music up close in a listening-room style environment that showcases the artistry behind the songs.

Linda Davis, known for her Grammy-winning duet “Does He Love You?” with Reba McEntire, has spent her career sharing the stage with country music performers such as, Garth Brooks, George Strait, and Kenny Rogers. A member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, Davis continues to perform regularly on the Grand Ole Opry and at venues across the country.

Lang Scott, also a two-time Grammy Award winner, gained national attention as the first winner of TNN’s “You Can Be a Star” and went on to perform as a guitarist and background vocalist for Reba McEntire. In addition to his solo career, he performs regularly with his wife Linda Davis.

Bill Whyte brings a lively blend of comedy and songwriting to the stage. With songs recorded by artists such as Ray Stevens, Cledus T. Judd, and Joe Nichols, and with a background as a nationally recognized morning radio host, Whyte’s humor and storytelling leave a lasting impression on every audience.

Together, this trio brings a rich mix of musical talent, personal connection, and down-to-earth appeal.
