AUGUSTA COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — UPDATE: 8/18/25 – The water boil advisory has been lifted in Augusta County.

A water boil advisory will take effect for parts of Augusta County on Friday, August 15.

Augusta Water made an announcement that customers in the Bon Lea and Fox Hill areas of Augusta County have a water boil effective immediately. Affected streets are Bon Lea Drive, Farmington Drive, Field Haven Place, Baldwin Lane, Bluebird Lane and Nature Trail Lane. Areas affected received hand delivered notices.

Also, a Boil Water Advisory will be in effect beginning at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 15, 2025 for the Blackburn area and portions of the Verona area.

The advisory comes after a major water main break in Staunton early Friday morning that has also left the city under an advisory.
