FISHERSVILLE, VA (Rocktown Now) – The Waynesboro Area Refuge Ministry – or “WARM” – begins their cold weather shelter schedule tonight, November 24th.

Founded in 2011, WARM organizes a cold weather shelter for those who are homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness in Waynesboro and Augusta County, as well as other transitional housing and outreach programs.

The first shelter of the season is Fishersville United Methodist Church on Jefferson Highway and will be open all week from 6:00pm to 7am, nightly.

Space is limited, so anyone interested should first call ahead to reserve a bed.
