Wade Emmette Mohler, 75, a resident of Harrisonburg, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024 at Oak Lea at VMRC.

Mr. Mohler was born on April 6, 1949 in Rockingham County and was the son of the late Archie Samuel and Mary Fern Hill Mohler. He retired from Harrisonburg Electric Commission where he worked as a lineman. He was a member of the Eagles Aerie Post #4150 and AMVETS. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

On May 16, 1969, he married Sandra McDonaldson Mohler who survives.

Also surviving are two children, Brian Mohler and wife Billie Jo of Lacey Spring, Kristie Mohler McDonald and husband Mark of Mt. Clinton; grandchildren, Tristan McDonald, Liam Mohler, Garret Mohler, Jesse McDonald, Matthew Mohler, Levi Mohler; and a special niece, Phyllis Mohler See.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11 a.m. at McMullen Funeral Home with Pastor Trevor Whetzel officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Burial will be held privately following the service.
