Virginia Wiltshire Logan of Broadway, Virginia, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on May 6, 2024.
Virginia was born January 14,1934 in Delaware and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, by the late Pauline and Ralph Wiltshire. Virginia, known to many as Ginny, attended Madison College, where she graduated with an Accounting degree.
In 1955, she married Patrick Logan, Sr and the couple lived in Harrisonburg, where Ginny taught for several years at Keister Elementary. After teaching she became a bookkeeper for the family business, Minute Car Wash, and later worked as a bookkeeper at Zirkle’s Paint and Wall Covering. In 1978, she opened Ginny Logan’s Frame House, her own picture framing business, from which she retired in 2010.
Ginny was a faithful member of Bethlehem Brethren Church, where she was not only a Deacon, but also taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Patrick W. Logan Sr., as well as her children, Cheryl Logan Jones of Broadway, Patrick W. Logan, Jr. (Wendy) of Richmond, and Michael H. Logan of Dayton, grandchildren Emily Via (Stanley), Andrew Jones, Molly Jones, Kyle Logan (Sally), Sarah Joyce (Andrew), Connor Logan, Kelsey Miner (Mark), Chloe Simmons (Clint), and 8 great-grandchildren.
The Logan family will forever cherish memories of their Mammy’s steadfast devotion, guidance, generosity, and sense of humor.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18 at Bethlehem Brethren Church, 178 Pleasant Hill Road, Harrisonburg, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Bethlehem Brethren Church.
