SHENANDOAH COUNTY, Va. (ROCKTOWN NOW) – Virginia State Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash in Shenandoah County. The crash occurred Sunday, Aug. 25, at 4:55 p.m. on Fort Valley Road, two-tenths of a mile north of Buck Run Lane.

In a release, Sergeant Brent Coffey said a 1998 Plymouth Neon was traveling south on Fort Valley Road when it crossed a double solid yellow centerline and collided head-on with a northbound 2007 Toyota Sienna.
The driver of the Plymouth, a 25-year-old male from Fort Valley, Va., suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the Toyota, a 37-year-old male from Woodstock, Va., suffered minor injuries and was transported to Shenandoah Memorial Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The crash remains under investigation.
