HARRISONBURG, VA (Rocktown Now) — Utility work will take place on Main Street in Harrisonburg for most of the week.

Beginning today, crews will be working between Gay and Rock Streets in a project that is scheduled to last through Wednesday.

Daytime work will take place from 7 to 5 each day and will require lane closures.

Public Works promises traffic will be able to pass by the area; however, delays should be expected.

Drivers should travel cautiously around the work zone.
