SHENANDOAH COUNTY, VA (Rocktown Now) — Two wanted people from Shenandoah County were arrested in Woodstock on Sunday following a traffic stop.
The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle in the area of Ox Road and it was determined the driver and passenger were both wanted individuals.
SCSO says that during a search incident to arrest on an outstanding capias, deputies discovered the passenger was in possession of suspected methamphetamine. A subsequent probation search was conducted at her residence where more narcotics were located.
The passenger was identified as Jessica Dawn Bennett, 46, of Edinburg, VA and was charged with:
- 19.2-306: Violating Probation of a Felony Offense
- 18.2-250: Possession of a Sch. I or II Controlled Substance
The driver was identified as Andrew John Fleming, 32, and was charged with:
- 19.2-306: Violating Probation of a Felony Offense
Deputies arrested Bennett and Fleming and transported both to the Rappahannock Shenandoah Warren (RSW) Regional Jail where they are being held without bond.
